So here it is, another Monday has come around and it’s time for me to get cracking on another topic to write about. Having just returned from the Happiest Place on Earth a few days ago, I feel it’s only appropriate to incorporate some of that childlike imagination that I was able to tap into while I was away and apply it to all things Disney with interior design! My absolute favorite type of interior design would have to be children’s rooms. I love that you can just let your imagination completely go and come up with something completely out there without actually being questioned for your choices! I’ve scoped out some of the most wackiest yet utterly cool Disney themed bedrooms for your viewing pleasure so enjoy!
Inspired after Queen Elsa from Frozen!
Also inspired by Frozen, this hotel in Quebec City named Hôtel de Glace unveiled a new suite they designed after this Disney movie where everything is completely made out of ice and snow! Don’t forget to bring a parka!
Looking at these pictures, I can’t help but get The Little Mermaid’s “Under the Sea” out of my head! The giant clam shaped headboard in both of these rooms completely epitomizes the feel of actually living below the surface and would be fit for any mermaid!
While you’re already taking a swim in the ocean, you might as well come over and say hi to Nemo, Dory, and Crush!
Now let’s get back on land for a moment and follow me down the rabbit hole to check out some of these rooms that are styled after one of my favorite Disney movies, Alice in Wonderland!
We all need a reminder sometimes to not take things too seriously. Maybe these rooms will help you remember to never grow up!
The next few bedrooms are perfectly coiffed for a princess in training!
In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room…you might find something like this!
Now let’s get back to the basics for a moment to where this all began, the big mouse himself; Mickey!
If you’re lucky enough to stay at the Mickey Mouse Penthouse in the Disneyland Hotel, you’ll be treated to an incredibly designed suite all focused on Mickey himself.
Before I sign off, I have one last Disney bedroom to showcase which might just be one of my favorite movies, but alas, I don’t think I could persuade my fiance to redo our bedroom to look like this…
Well, it’s been a real slice finding these amazing Disney rooms to share with all of you lovely folks but I hear reality TV calling my name now (don’t you dare judge me) so I must be off, and as I always say (as of, well…three posts ago..)
Keep it classy,
